I Really Want A Ferrari

PLEASE PLEASE help me get a Ferrari.

I have fallen head over heels in love with the Ferrari 430 and desperately need to raise the cash to buy one. At the moment I have $4.63 so I have a little way to go.

Any donation of any size will be greatly appreciated from $0.01 to $1,000,000,000 or more.

In return I promise I will let you drive it once I have it. Heck we'll go on a road trip!

  11. What kind of Ferrari? Presumably not a F430 Scuderia. I'd be perfectly happy with a 1982 Mondial Quattrovalvole, those can be had for relatively cheap.

  13. Hello Marcus,

Well... first I need to say this: I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU STOLE MY IDEA!!!

It's actually me. Me. "I" need a Ferrari. I always have.

A very beautiful Italian lady stopped me at an intersection last week and said "I like your Ferrari" in a thick accent. We both laughed (as I drive an MR2 with some Ferrari decals on it, not a Ferrari). I told her one day I would have one, and she said "I know." Just as simple as that. And then she repeated it like she was a soothsayer: "I know you will have one one day..." and then she drove off.

So it's already written in the stars. The beautiful Italian woman told me so. I just need the $$$ to make it happen now. Oh, and a little bit of influence to get on the list.

Since you "did" manage to get this BRILLIANT blog (and twitter) up first, I'd like to make you a proposition. We create a partnership and both ask for donations thru various channels until we have enough for "our" Ferrari.

If we go for the Ferrari 458 Italia we can have it for apprx. $226,000 (a mere $113,000 each!). Then, we only need figure out a fair, shared-custody schedule and we'll both have indulged our dreams. At least half the time.

And hey -- if you want to pitch in a little more, I'm totally open to going for the Enzo.

    :)

    LMK

  14. Wait a minute! You people need to respect those of us who came first. I have spent my life waiting for a Ferrari. I visit the factory in Modena every time I go to Italy, I have lunch at IlCavelino across the street. I watch the technitions with their crested blazers come in and order food with wealth clients, as I look on wondering. When will it be my turn? I have owned Mercedes, Jags, Alfa and even Minis, but never a Prancing horse. Never! Yes! I have come close. So close, that I now drive a red Fiat 500 with a Ferrari sticker! Not the same! close, (lots of attention). But not the same. So please when you do get the money to buy your Ferrari, just remember the poor little guy in his Don Giovanni Red Fiat. (Teary eyed)Heee... wants one too!(honk!honk!)
